Following are bios for several key people in the company. 

Lester Johnson, President

As an executive for the United States government, Mr. Johnson oversaw more than $1 billion of programs in all 50 states. With more than 20 years of federal service, he developed working relationships with key managers across government and the private sector. He has a combination of state, federal and private sector experience and business education that provides him with a unique understanding of both the corporate and government communities. 

He founded Les Johnson & Associates, a Washington, DC-based consulting firm and later Washington Avenue International. Washington Avenue serves as a bridge to US companies and government agencies. His staff is Nigerian, Chinese and American. Most recently, he has met with and advised government agencies and companies in Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang Province in China, as well as several universities. Early in his government career, Mr. Johnson was based in New York City and worked for both New Jersey and New York State. He managed procurement and contracting operations with private companies. 

Mr. Johnson earned his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Chicago's Booth Executive MBA Program in June 1998 where he studied in Chicago and Barcelona, Spain with executives from more than 30 countries. He earned his BS degree in the state of Michigan and studied Urban Planning at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He studied leadership and management from Stephen Covey, Tony Robbins, Sid Simon and Robert Dilts. He is an authorized trainer for Covey's 7 Habits of Effective people which focuses on ethics and moral frameworks. 

Mr. Johnson is Vice President of the University of Chicago's Business School Alumni Association in Washington, DC and works closely with the Harvard, Wharton, New York University and Columbia Alumni Associations. He is an Executive in Residence at the University of Chicago and is called on to do seminars for graduates interested in working for the federal government. He is a member at the University Club in Washington, DC, the Asia Society and the AMA. 

Mr. Johnson has traveled to more than 25 countries and has business contacts throughout the world. He has been interviewed by and quoted in the Wall Street Journal and USAToday newspapers.
